Vice-Presidents are elected by a majority of the voters. If none of the candidates obtains this majority after two rounds of voting, the meeting may be suspended. In all cases, a third round is held after which the candidate with the highest number of votes is declared elected. In the third round, the oldest candidate is declared elected.The replacement of a vice-president for the vacant post is made under the same conditions as for the president.The duties of Vice-Presidents shall be terminated under the same conditions as for the President. They are subject to the same penalties.
Under the authority of the President of the Circle Council, the Vice-Presidents are responsible for the following questions:
-Spain planning and planning;
-Federal and land affairs;
-Educational, social, cultural and sports affairs;
- Cooperation with other local authorities;
-Any other question that the president will give them.
The specific attributions of the vice-presidents are determined by order of the president of the council of circle.
